Traveling from Chicago, we stopped at Zaiqa Restaurant in Hanover, Maryland near to baltimore airport and were tempted by their weekend lunch buffet. While we usually order à la carte, the chance to taste a wide variety of pakistani dishes in one sitting was too good to pass up. Now I am going to give here my personal al halal zaiqa restaurant reviews after my visiting experience.

Ambiance & Atmosphere:
Zaiqa offers a comfortable, family-friendly setup with ample space for groups. The weekend buffet draws a good crowd, but the large dining area still feels relaxed. Decor is simple with a focus on function making it a good choice for casual dining or group meals.
Service & Staff:
Staff were welcoming and kept the buffet well stocked. Plates were cleared quickly, and they checked in often enough to make sure drinks and essentials were covered. Service was efficient without being intrusive, which works well in a buffet-style setting.

Pricing & Value
The buffet is priced mid-range, which is fair considering the variety and portion control you get. Considering the quality of certain dishes like the goat curry and Kheer, it felt worth it. For travelers with kids it’s a smart option to taste a little of everything.

Food & Drink Review (What We Tried)
- Veg Samosa – Crisp, golden pastry with a flavorful potato filling. A solid starter that set the tone for the meal.
- Chicken Tikka Kabab – Juicy, well-marinated, and nicely grilled. Smoky flavor without being dry.
- Goat Curry – The star of the buffet. Rich, bold, and tender meat that stood out from the rest of the spread.
- Kheer – Creamy and sweet with the right balance of cardamom and rice. A refreshing way to finish the meal.
Standout Items / Recommendations
If you try the buffet, don’t miss the Goat Curry. It’s easily the highlight. The Veg Samosas and Chicken Tikka Kabab are also worth a plate, and finishing with Kheer makes the experience complete.
Overall Experience
Al-Halal Zaiqa Restaurant’s weekend buffet in Hanover is a strong choice if you want variety and flavor in one stop. While we usually prefer ordering from the menu, the buffet gave us a great chance to try multiple items, and the Goat Curry alone made it worthwhile. We could'nt able to try owner Imran's another restraunt in Laurel named as Perri Perri Original as we had to fly back Chicago.
Rating: 4.5 / 5 – A well-rounded buffet with standout dishes like goat curry and Kheer. Great value for travelers and families.
