Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoon scallions
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
For Sauce
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- ½ tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoon honey
- ½ tablespoon sriracha
- 2 teaspoon garlic
- 2 teaspoon ginger
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch slurry
Instructions

take 1lb ground chicken

add bread crumbs, ginger, garlic, and an egg in it

also add scallions and soy sauce and mix it with hands

Combine all spices into a large bowl and mix thoroughly into lean ground chicken

bake these meat balls for 20 to 25mins at 400F or 200C. until light brown and cooked through

for sauce add soy sauce in a pan

add rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, sriracha, garlic, ginger and brown sugar

mix it well then add cornstarch slurry and whisk it for 5 mins until sauce thickens

add meatballs in the prepared sauce

serve it with boiled rice
Substitutions
- Substitute with apple cider vinegar or white vinegar if rice vinegar is not available.
- Use honey, maple syrup, or agave syrup as alternatives to brown sugar.
- If you don't have fresh garlic or ginger, you can use garlic powder and ground ginger as substitutes (adjust quantities to taste).

- Spicy - add red pepper flakes to the teriyaki sauce for a spicy kick

- Refrigerator: If you've prepared the meatball mixture but haven't cooked them yet, you can store the uncooked meatballs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 days. Make sure to keep them well-covered to prevent drying out.
- Freezer: To store uncooked meatballs for a longer period, arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, making sure they're not touching each other, and freeze until solid. Once frozen, transfer the meatballs to a freezer-safe bag or container. They can be kept frozen for up to 3 months. When ready to use, thaw them in the refrigerator overnight before cooking.
